What is UVC?

Ultraviolet (UV) light is categorized into three primary bands based on wavelength. Among them, UVC is referred to as “Deep Ultraviolet” (Deep UV)

What is UVC LED?

UVC LED (Deep Ultraviolet Light Emitting Diode) is a solid-state light source based on wide-bandgap semiconductor materials (such as AlGaN) that converts electrical energy directly into ultraviolet light. Unlike traditional mercury lamps that emit a broad spectrum, UVC LEDs precisely generate narrow-band UV light between 270nm and 280nm—the most efficient and eco-friendly waveband for physical disinfection known today.

Disinfection Mechanism
